Pittjes - a whole world of flavour

The world in which we live keeps on changing. That makes us aware on a daily basis of the responsibility on our shoulders:
where we buy our ingredients, where we do our processing and where you buy our products.

We rise to this challenge and strive for sustainability in order to ensure that you can still enjoy the nutty flavour of Pittjes tomorrow.

The quality and naturalness of our products are as much a priority for us as the effects of our activity on the environment,
people and society. We aim to excel in all areas by taking a responsible approach to our work, day after day.

All our activities are carried out in accordance with the basic principles of the Intersnack-Group.

FARMING

Our responsibility for the environment and society begins in the country of origin of our raw materials.
Safety at work, product safety, health and fair conditions are intrinsic elements of our approach all over the world.

Ultimately it is our suppliers, with their family traditions often stretching back over decades and their know-how,
who ensure that the initial products are premium quality – an essential requirement for the popular Pittjes snack fun!

PROCESSING

When manufacturing and processing the Pittjes specialities we make a particular effort to ensure long-term sustainability.

For us this means the efficient use of all resources, such as energy and water, as well as the raw materials themselves.

Our production plants ensure the lowest possible CO2 emissions – our active contribution to climate protection.

PACKAGING

The most important challenge for our packaging is to enable you to get our Pittjes specialities home safely, protected and in the best quality.

We guarantee this through continual new developments and technical improvements while at the same time ensuring that you have the best snack fun.

PEOPLE

Pittjes should be fun. In this respect we are thinking of you, our customers, as well as our staff. Only a contented workforce
can produce a really good product. Our primary obligation is therefore to ensure flexible and fair working conditions, job security,
training of future management and the constant support and qualification of the people who produce the Pittjes specialities for you.

This is a responsibility that we are happy to discuss openly with our members of staff.
